The Tower at Desert View, Grand Canyon

(these photos got “lost” during the swapping around of laptops) This was an awesome introduction to the Grand Canyon as we drove in from the East.

Looks like rocks in the lake, right? That’s what we thought, but, they are tumbleweeds. We saw migrating Sandhill Cranes here…and heard them. The Great Sand Dunes from our campsite.

Along the Colorado River. We were serenaded by several thousands goats! And at one point they were herded up the camp road right around our camper!
